About this compound

Melanotan II is a synthetic cyclic heptapeptide α-MSH analogue developed in academic research in the 1990s. It activates melanocortin receptors — primarily MC1R for pigmentation, with secondary effects via MC3R/MC4R on appetite and sexual behavior.

Compared with native α-MSH, MT-2 shows greater receptor affinity and pharmacological stability, with characterized pigmentation, anorectic, and pro-erectile effects in research models.

Research applications
  • Melanocortin-receptor / pigmentation research
  • Appetite-suppression and hypothalamic-signaling studies
  • Libido and sexual-behavior models
  • Anti-inflammatory melanocortin pathway investigation

The Protocol

How to run this compound.

01
Reconstitute

Add bacteriostatic water to the sealed vial. Swirl — do not shake. Refrigerate after reconstitution.

02
Dose

Reconstitute with bacteriostatic water. Subcutaneous administration on protocol cadence.

03
Cadence

Run on the protocol schedule. The system rewards consistency over intensity.
